Organ and Piano Lessons
Tailored instruction for all skill levels, building technique, musicality and confidence step-by-step. Whether a beginner or looking to improve your current skillset, I can support your musical development and all aspects of being an organist.
Organist for all occasions
From weddings to funerals and special services, I have over 30 years of performance experience and can provide a professional service to make your occasion special and memorable.
Exam Tutoring
I provide tailored and focused support for GCSE and A Level music, covering all aspects of the course. I also provide tuition and support for Theory exams right up to Grade 8.
Accompanist
From beginner to diploma level, I am a high experienced accompanist on both organ and piano and accompany soloists, duets and ensembles with skill and sensitivity. As well as festivals and concerts, I accompany candidates for music exams, both face-to-face and recorded.
FAQs
No problem! As well as being able to source a mutually convenient teaching venue, I have connections with various churches in the area and can help arrange introductions leading to access to instruments. Practising the manual part on a piano or keyboard is always a good start. Plus there is also a lot of organ music written for just manuals.
Do you offer online lessons?
Yes, I provide online lessons for both organ and piano, tailored to your needs.
Can I have help with just one or two parts of my GCSE or A level Music course?
Absolutely. I offer focused tutoring for A level and GCSE music exams, including practical and theory support as well as written exam and coursework preparation. This can cover whole syllabi or just focus on a particular unit.
I would like to learn the organ but don't have access to an instrument - how would it work?
